What the free scan includes

Everything you need to decide. The scan reads your file, runs all 225 checks, fetches your images, and returns the complete report: every finding against the attribute it belongs to, the number of products affected, and which findings could be repaired from your own data. There is no account to create and nothing to install. The free scan never calls a language model; it is deterministic and reproducible, so the same file produces the same report.

What the one charge buys

The paid step produces the supplemental data source: the file you add in Merchant Center that carries your corrections and keeps applying after each sync. It is a single charge for one catalogue, with no renewal and nothing of ours left running that you would keep paying for. The corrections live in a spreadsheet in your own Google account, which is another way of saying there is no hosted service to subscribe to. Why one payment is enough, rather than a monthly one, is the whole point of the method: the fix is an overlay, not an edit, so your nightly export cannot wipe it.

What a repeat costs

Scanning again is always free. You can re-scan whenever you like, after a big catalogue change or just to check, and you only pay again if there is new work worth downloading. Most of what a scan finds is not a one-off: an export tends to make the same mistake in the same field every time, so the report also tells you which faults are systematic and where they come from, which lets you fix them at the source so new products arrive clean without another fix at all.

The tier is the catalogue, not a feature gate

Every tier runs the identical scan and produces the identical kind of fix. Nothing is held back for a higher price; the number is simply a function of how many products the correction has to cover. A file may be up to 60 MB and contain up to 5,000 products. If yours is larger than that, get in touch before uploading, and if a scan turns up nothing worth repairing, there is nothing to download and you pay nothing, which is a perfectly good outcome.
