Invalid certification value
A certification that is present but malformed is as good as absent: if the value is outside the set the certification allows, Google cannot show the label.

A certification value from the allowed set
The certification's value has to be one the certification actually allows, and the authority, name and code have to form a recognised record. A value outside the set, an unknown code, or a name that does not match the authority breaks the link. Google reports these as Invalid certification value, Unknown certification code or Unsupported certification name.
What Google does
The label does not render
A certification that does not resolve produces no energy label, so the fault counts against data quality even though you supplied data. It can also be reported as Certification not recognized in target countries where the record is valid elsewhere but not in the market you sell to.

Correct the record
- Use a certification value from the set the certification allows.
- Check the name matches the authority and the code is one Google recognises.
- Confirm the certification is valid in the country you are targeting.
