Common rejections
Excessive capitalization [title]
Capitals read as shouting to Google's classifiers because, statistically, they are: promotional feeds shout. The rule catches honest habits too, a brand name typed in caps, a title pasted from an internal system that uppercases everything.
What Google requires
Sentence-like casing, with room for real acronyms
Titles must not be capitalised for emphasis. Ordinary product casing is expected, and legitimate acronyms and codes, LED, USB, XL, a model number, are allowed. The judgement is proportional: a title that is mostly capitals fails, a title containing capitals where language puts them does not.
What happens if you do not
Disapproval of the product, not just the title
Excessive capitalisation disapproves the product outright. It often arrives together with its sibling, promotional text in the title, because both come from the same habit of using the title as advertising space. A feed whose titles come from an internal ERP that stores everything uppercase fails wholesale.
How to fix it by hand
Rewrite the casing, keep the words
- Recase titles to normal product casing, preserving acronyms, units and model codes.
- Do not shorten while you are at it: the terms in the title are what the product matches queries on, and recasing is not the moment to lose them.
- Fix the source system where possible, so next month's products arrive correctly cased.
Which of our checks apply
Two checks apply, read from the scanner's registry
Recasing is checked against an acronym list, so LED and USB survive. A rewritten title ships as structured_title with the generated-content declaration Google requires, and every word is verified against your own row first.

Let the scan find them
The scan finds every shouting title and the fix recases them without losing a single term your products match on. The scan to identify errors is free and shows every finding before you pay anything. You only pay for the fix.
